The move is on at last! The eMi² Office at Oaklands is being dismantled & boxed up for delivery to its New Delhi home. Over the last week, we've been taking the eMi² out of Oaklands with the tireless help of three heroic interns. In the next few weeks the task will be putting the eMi² into a New Delhi office space. The Lord has been leading us into an exciting new phase of eMi² in Delhi, would you consider joining us to become a financial partner?

eMi² is bringing out a brand new publication for 2011 called Raveler. Since our Indian Thread e-newsletter only covers a small portion of our ministry through the year, we've felt for a while that we needed to do more. So this year we're unweaving all the threads of projects, testimonies & clients with an annual magazine of photos & stories by the people of eMi². You can get a sneak peek at the feature articles. Raveler 2011 will be available for purchase (hardcopy & eBook) later this month through an online 'on-demand' publisher. For the first time ever, get the full picture of a year of ministry in eMi².
September 2011 Project Trips Current Forecast Map: Now you can keep track of the 'current forecast' for project trips outlined in South Asia in 2012. Know the who, where, & when in advance and mark your calendar to join one of our project teams – east, west, north, or south. We'll keep adding markers and move 'TBD' markers onto their targets as our project work outline gets more defined.

We just had staff meetings to discuss our future Delhi plans. As a team, we scoured maps, we walked neighborhoods, we discussed important localities and living standards, we debated about intern accommodations, we feasted on kebabs and we prayed. At last, we have three locations that represent options for our office and residences in Delhi. It's progress.

2011 is here, the Chinese year of the rabbit is coming, and our four new interns have arrived: two Americans, two Canadians, and one South African will soon be starting the pan-India eMi² project season – Patna, Lucknow, Mumbai, Pune, Madurai, Oddanchatram; Planes, trains, auto-rickshaws, and a red Tata Magic... Who's got what it takes to last the entire circuit?

This Thursday & Friday, November 4-5th, we at eMi² will be having our days of prayer & fasting. This is a time where we set aside our routine works for a while to spend time seeking the Lord. Why not join us for a time to pray for us & others and just refocus our attention to Him as the Guide to our lives and ministry? There are so many things which make us busy. Sometimes it's right to set them aside for a space to help us remember the things which are important.

All of the eMi² staff and interns are now safely back in the office at our northern corner of India despite a heavy tail end of the monsoon which made travel a challenge. The excursions for project trips this past September took eMi² to two other corners of India – the Northeast and the South. Two eMi² teams and an EMI-UK office team worked on four projects in Tamil Nadu in South India, and a third eMi² team visited a client in Meghalaya, Northeast India. Average per person project round-trip travel time: ~90 hours.

Fresh up from Delhi this morning, our new interns have just arrived here in rainy Mussoorie. This town will be home for the next four months for the five young engineers and architects who have joined eMi²'s ministry this term. Mark & Cara, Katie, Nate and Nick (for his second round internship) are working hard to get over their jetlag...
July 26, 2010 We're looking for a few design folks (engineers and architects) who are ready for an adventure. A few who are ready to get outside the normal, everyday, work environment to come join us on the top of the mountain for a year. To hike to the office, to learn a little Hindi, to ride the train to remote locations where our next client needs help figuring out how to turn a piece of land into a place where those in need will find physical and spiritual healing. May 28th, 2010 We set out from Auli, with our 15 person trekking group on May 16th! Our group included 3 staff, 3 staff children, 3 interns, 1 brother, 2 friends, 3 donkeys, 2 donkey wallas, and 1 guide!
It was an amazing trek; the views couldn't have been more impressive. It was also a great time to experience life together outside of the office. You could definitely feel God's presence and wonder in that place.
